These kippers have been smoked in a traditional way for more than a hundred years at our kilns in Buckie.

No artificial additives are used and just like all our other processes these are natural, succulent and are healthy eating.

All kippers are sold in pairs you can choose either one pair

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

KIPPER & CHEESE FLAN

For this dish you will need:
100g Short Crust Pastry, 2 Eggs, 150ml Milk, 100g Grated Cheese, 225g Kipper Fillets

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4
  2. Roll out the short crust pastry and line a flan tin with the pastry
  3. Beat together the eggs and milk. Mix in the Grated Cheese and Kipper fillets flaked.
  4. Pour into the lined flan tin and cook for 45 mins or until the mixture has set and is golden brown
This can be served Hot or Cold
